The present Miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 170 days in filing the above Criminal appeal against the judgment dated 19.12.2017 passed by the Judicial Magistrate-II, Walajapet in STC.No.232 of 2017.

2. Though notice was served on the respondent, however, none appeared on his behalf.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and post the main case for admission.
