The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus the respondent to pay the petitioner the difference/arrears of wages for the period from 01.09.2019 to 31.03.2020 and also terminal benefits and also terminal benefits as admitted by the respondent in the RTI information dated 21.05.2025, together with 18% interest per annum, within a stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation on 02.06.2025 claiming the arrears in difference in wages based upon the Wage Settlement and such representation is pending with the respondent.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent fairly submitted that they will consider the petitioner's above representation dated 02.06.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.
4. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions and also perused the materials available on record. 2/4

In such view of the fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court, deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's above representation dated 02.06.2025 and pass orders, according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
