ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed by Mr.C.Angalan, son of Chinnathambi, a resident of Mariyamman Koilg North 3rd Street, Eraiyur Colony, Vanur Taluk, for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 22.8.2022 and to remove the encroachment made by third respondent in Survey No.242/20 at Eraiyur Colony, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District.

2. When the writ petition is taken up, Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the second respondent - Tahsildar, Vanur Taluk would ensure proper survey of the land in question in

the presence of the petitioner and the third respondent and after survey, if any encroachment is found, the same would be removed within the stipulated time.

3. Recording the submission made by learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent - Tahsildar, Vanur Taluk, to conduct a survey of the land in question in the presence of the petitioner and the third respondent and after survey, if any encroachment is found, the same shall be removed. The aforesaid exercise is directed to be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs. (T.R., ACJ.)
