With the consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he joined in the respondent Board in the year 1987. In the year 2011, the second respondent issued a charge memo and after enquiry the second respondent imposed punishment of stoppage of increment with all cumulative benefits. Aggrieved by the order, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 21.06.2011, but so far it was not considered. Hence, he filed the writ petition before this Court.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Kumanaraja, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and M/s.R.Varalakshmi who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to dispose https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 21.06.2011 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
