ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 07.02.2025 pursuant to the proceedings dated 06.03.2025 of the 1 st respondent.

Heard Mr.A.Illayaperumal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.S.Ravichandran, learned Additional Government Pleader for 3 rd respondent.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he is the absolute owner of the subject property and he has also put up construction. There was some damage to the superstructure and hence, the petitioner has demolished the said construction. The 4 th respondent at that point of time approached the petitioner and promised that she can get the benefit from the Government under a scheme

for constructing the house. Believing the 4 th respondent, the petitioner gave the particulars and taking advantage of the same, the 4 th respondent has received benefits for the building the house in her name under the Pradhan Manthiri Housing scheme by showing the petitioner's property. 4.

The petitioner gave a complaint in this regard to the 1 st respondent and the 1 st respondent has already forwarded the same to the 2 nd respondent for enquiry. Since there was no progress, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner after affording opportunity to the 4 th respondent and take a decision, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
