This application is filed to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the written statement of the first and second defendants. The plaintiff states that the condonation of delay is left to the discretion of the Court. The applicant relies upon the suo motu proceedings of the Hon'ble Supreme Court by which the limitation period was extended on account of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, the applicant has explained the delay in paragraph 6 of the affidavit. Upon examining the same and being satisfied that sufficient cause is made out, this application is allowed.
