The petitioner herein seeks direction for expedite trial of C.C.No.69 of 2020 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Madhavaram. 2.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the trial in this case has commenced and out of 11 witnesses, 3 witnesses already examined. For examination of LW.4 to LW.6, summons been issued for their appearance on 23.09.2024 to record their evidence. He further states that the Investigating Officer is ensure that the witnesses will be produced on the hearing date and complete the trial as early as possible.

Recording the statement of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the Investigating Officer to marshal the witnesses on the next hearing date and subsequent hearing date and complete the examination of witnesses on the side of the prosecution preferably within a period of three months.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
