This petition is filed to condone the delay of 256 days in filing appeal as against judgment and decree passed in MCOP.No.339/2020, dated 07.09.2022.

2.M/s.C.Sangamithiri, learned counsel enters appearance for the second respondent.

3.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.112315 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.

4.In the eventuality of the petitioner succeeding in the appeal, interest may have to be reckoned only from the date on which the Registry takes the appeal on record.
