ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Balasubramaniam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land bearing S.No.319 at Ayyappanthangal Village is a canal. The fourth respondent has encroached upon it.

3. It is submitted that the fourth respondent is the owner of the

land in S.No.319.

4. Learned State Government Pleader submits that measurement would be carried out, after notice to the fourth respondent.

5. Upon measurement, if any encroachment is found, then, the authorities would take further action in accordance with law.

6. The writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
