The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the online complaint dated 03.07.2025 to the Chairman AICTE for granting Extension of Approval as per the application submitted by the petitioner dated 25.02.2025.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has applied for break in Extension of Approval with the respondents. It is the contention that the petitioner Institution is having all infrastructural and instructional facilities as contemplated in the approval process handbook. The learned counsel would further submit that the petitioner was threatened and compelled with extraneous demands through telephone, that unless the demands are met with Extension of Approval will not be granted. In this connection, the petitioner sent representation on 03.07.2025 and such representation is pending with the respondent. 2/4

3.The learned Senior Standing Counsel would strongly object the contentions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, however would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time. 4.In view of such submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the above representation of the petitioner, upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
