ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to conclude the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.893/2024/A6 dated 10.07.2024 and the representations of the petitioners dated 27.06.2024 with respect to cancel the legal heirship certificate of the second respondent in his proceedings in Pa.Mu.4098/2006/B2 dated 10.04.2006.

It is the case of the petitioner that the father in law viz., Subramania Pillai of the first petitioner had owned the agricultural land measuring 5 Acres 16 cents in S.No.168/1B and etc., in Paranthur-A Village, Kancheepuram Taluk and District. By suppressing the petitioner's husband as one of the legal heir of the said Subramania Pillai, the 5th respondent had 2/5

obtained legal heirship certificate from the second respondent through his proceeding dated 10.04.2006. Hence, the petitioner made a representation on 27.06.2024 to cancel the said legalheirship certificate and the same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the second respondent to conclude the proceedings dated 10.07.2024 and also to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.06.2024 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
