ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in connection with Crime No.274 of 2021 dated 18th October 2021 for the offence punishable under sections 341, 294(b), 324, 392 and 506(ii) IPC.

2. Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police and further petitioner's father is likely to contest in the local municipal election. In order to keep away the petitioner's father from the political activities, the petitioner has been harassed.

3. Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.274 of 2021. For the purpose of enquiry only, the petitioner was called for which cannot be termed as harassment.

4. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
