Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.12.2016 and subsequently direct the respondents to cancel the Sale Deed dated 02.03.1983 registered as Document No.1575 of 1983 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Tambaram made in the name of the said Kalavathi.

Consistently, there is no representation for the petitioner. When the matter was listed for hearing on 19.11.2020, there was no representation for the petitioner, hence, the matter was adjourned to 26.11.2020. Subsequently, when the matter was listed on 30.11.2020 also, there was no representation for the petitioner and hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "for dismissal" on 02.12.2020. Though the matter has been listed under the caption "for dismissal", today also, none appeared for the petitioner. Hence, this Court has no other option, except to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
