ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein to secure and produce the detenue K.Nargis Fathima, aged about 18 years, before this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court from the custody of the 3rd respondent and set her at liberty.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was in love with Nargis Fathima, aged about 18 years and she is being kept in the illegal detention by her parents and therefore, he has filed the present habeas corpus petition.
3. Today, R.Gayathri, Police Constable 57576, M-7, Manali New Town Police Station, Chennai - 103, is present. Nargis Fathima is also present before this Court along with her father.
4. When enquired by us, Nargis Fathima stated that her date of birth is 12.09.2003 and the petitioner has been emotionally blackmailing her and forcing her to marry him. She further stated that she is not being kept in the illegal custody by her parents.
In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
