O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to order reinvestigation in Crime No.122 of 2014, on the file of the Inspector of Police, S 15 Selaiyur Police Station by any other independent investigation agency.

2.This Court, by an order, dated 9/12/2021, passed the following order:- "The only grievance of the petitioner is that the prosecution has filed a final report for offences under Sections 498 A and 306 IPC alone. However, there are huge demands of money, which was evidenced by the bank transactions from the account of the parents of the deceased to the account of the accused, right from the marriage till the death of the deceased. These aspects have not been investigated property by the investigating officer.

2.In such a view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selaiyur, is directed to conduct further investigation, particularly, with regard to the amounts said to have been transferred from the accounts of the parents of the deceased to the account of the accused and file an Additional Report before the trial Court with copy to this Court, on or before 23/12/2021.

3.Post the matter on 23/12/2021, for additional report of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selaiyur."

3.In pursuant to the above directions, now it is stated by Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State that the additional final report is filed before the trial Court. In such a view of the matter, no further order is required to be passed in this matter. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. It is for the trial Court to take into consideration the final reports filed before it and proceed as per law. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
