ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.S.N.Subramani, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that application has been made for the grant of patta. However, the same is not decided.

3. The petitioner may make an application for the issuance of patta to the respondent authority within one week. If the petitioner makes an application within one week, the respondent authority may decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and policy, preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of such

application.
