B.Vasanth ..Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to give Police protection to the petitioner to put up the fence in the property comprised in Old survey No.783/3, New Survey No.783/3A1A at measuring to an extent of Acre 2.56 cents at Kuthambakkam village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District by considering his representation, dated 03.08.2023.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for Police protection based on the representation made by the petitioner on 03.08.2023.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, the representation made by the petitioner is received by the second respondent and the enquiry is pending.

3. The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed off. No costs.
