This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 133 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the order dated 24.01.2023 in Spl.S.C.No.68/2020 on the file of the learned Special Judge, Puducherry (under the POCSO Act, 2012) Principal Sessions Judge, Puducherry.

2. Mr.K.S.Mohandas, learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) takes notice of the respondent and he did not raise any serious objection. This Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
