PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the respondents to Re-investigate the matter relating to the First Information Report dated 09.01.2019 in Crime No.11 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent against the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to Re-investigate the matter relating to the First Information Report dated 09.01.2019 in Crime No.11 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent against the petitioner.

2. By consent of both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for disposal.

3. Though the petitioner herein has sought for reinvestigation of the matter in Crime No.11 of 2019 and since the respondents have not concluded the investigation itself till date, it would not be appropriate to consider such a prayer. Nevertheless, if the respondents are directed to complete the investigation within stipulated time, the ends of justice would be secured.

4. In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2019, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
