This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 837 days in filing the above appeal against the judgment and award dated 16.12.2022 passed in M.C.O.P.No.38 of 2022 on the file of the Special Sub Judge No.2, (Motor Accident Claims Tribunal), Salem.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Chandran, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 837 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 837 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
