The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents1 and 3 to take necessary action on the petitioner's representation dated 01.07.2024 for allotment and subdivision of pathway in Survey No.394/1, situated at Karuveppampatti Village, Namakkal District, Tiruchengode Taluk.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he owns agricultural lands in Survey Nos.35/6, 35/7, 35/8 and 35/9 in the above mentioned village. The only access for the petitioner to reach his lands is 20 feet pathway lies in S.No.394/1, which was earmarked, vide proceedings No.Moo.Mu 458/2018/C 2/6
dated 26.02.2019 of the Revenue Divisional Officer / the third respondent. Therefore, the petitioner submitted that the representation dated 01.07.2024 to the respondents seeking subdivision of pathway in Natham Land Survey No.394/1. The said representation has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on its own merits, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.07.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to all interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
