ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the respondents allotting HIG Plot No.180 in favour of the petitioner on payment of a sum of Rs.2,44,700/- and furnishing of certain documents, till date he has not been handed over the possession of the said plot. It is his further submission that he had submitted a representation to the respondents dated 16.09.2016 seeking for either handing over the possession of the plot or for refund of the amount so paid by him. Since the petitioner is yet to be favoured with any kind of response, he came forward to file the present writ petition. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Anandamoorthy, learned Standing Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 16.09.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four months

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
