ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.832 of 2024 before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a stipulated period.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) sought further time for filing the final report in Crime No.832 of 2024.

3. Considering the submissions, this Court finds that the investigation cannot be kept pending indefinitely. Accordingly, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
