WMP.Nos.25091/2023 & 25093/2023 in WP.Nos.12959 & 12974/2017 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J., The above miscellaneous petitions have been filed seeking to amend the cause title by changing the name of the Bank from Andhra Bank to Union Bank of India.

2.It is stated that this amendment is consequent to a representation made on behalf of the respondents that Andhra Bank had been merged with the Union Bank of India and therefore, the proper respondent would only be Union Bank of India.

3.Since there is no shift in any of the pleadings, the above miscellaneous petitions stand allowed. Registry is to carry out necessary amendment in accordance with the miscellaneous petitions.

4.List the writ petitions for hearing on 14.09.2023.

5.The respondents have filed applications seeking to vacate the interim order granted. The affidavits therein, shall be treated as counter affidavits in the writ petitions.
