O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to return the original driving licence (DL.No.TN 32 Z 20020001754) to the petitioner forthwith.

2. The matter is relating to seizure of driving license of the petitioner for causing accident on 19.08.2019.

3. The Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2 submits that enquiry under Section 19 of Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 is contemplated and show cause notice dated 13.09.2019 has been sent to the petitioner under RPAD. After getting the explanation of the petitioner, order will be passed in accordance with law.

4. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent herein to adhere the time limit prescribed by this Court in W.P.No.26858 of 2019 dated 26.09.2019 (S.Lazer v. The Regional Transport Officer, Tirupur District). No costs.
