The petitioners, who are arrayed as accused, were arrested on 25.02.2016 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.56 of 2016, on the file of the respondent police and hence, seek bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners have damaged the banners and advertisement board and lights of the defacto complainant worth about Rs.10,000/- resulting in the registration of the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have nothing to do with the alleged offence and they have been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that in this case investigation is almost over and thus he prays for enlargement on bail.

4. Resisting the same, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petitioners have damaged the banners and advertisement board and lights of the defacto complainant worth about Rs.10,000/-. He further submitted that the investigation

5. Considering the rival submissions made by both sides and perused the materials available on record and also considering the fact that the investigation is considerably over, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioners with certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail on each of them executing a separate bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mayiladuthurai and on further condition that the petitioners shall deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the Crime No.56 of 2016 before the learned Magistrate concerned within a period of two weeks after they are come out on jail and on further condition that the petitioners shall report before the Court concerned daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
