ORDER

This writ petition has been filed forbearing the 1st and 2nd respondents not to interfere with the private temple festival conducted by the petitioner with respect to a private temple belonging to them. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the 1st and 2nd respondents produced the written instructions received from the 2nd respondent. On going

3/6 through the same, it is seen that private respondents 4 to 6 have give an objection to the effect that their names were not printed in the pamphlet that was issued and therefore, they are raising an objection and it may lead to law and order problem. Therefore, the 2nd respondent has called the parties for Peace Committee Meeting on 13.08.2025.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the 1st and 2nd respondents cannot interfere with the festival conducted in a private temple only based on the complaint given by the private respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the temple involved is a private temple and there is a likelihood of a law and order problem created by the private respondents, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to provide police protection and ensure that the festival is conducted in a smooth manner and everyone is allowed to participate in the festival. If anyone indulges in creating any law and order problem, the 3rd respondent shall take action in accordance with law.
