This application is filed to extend the time limit within which the arbitral proceedings should be completed.

2. The applicant states that the arbitral tribunal was constituted by order dated 26.03.2021 by which this Court had directed that such proceedings be concluded preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. The applicant further states that the time limit of six months within which this Court directed the arbitral tribunal to conclude the proceedings are expired on 12.11.2021. The present application is filed under these facts and circumstances.

3. The respondent is represented through counsel and has no objection to this application being allowed. It is submitted that issues have been framed upon completion of pleadings.

4. By taking into account the current stage of the arbitral proceedings, A.No.4730 of 2021 is allowed by extending the time for conclusion of the arbitral proceedings by pronouncing an award in respect thereof by a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
