The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 120(b), 406 & 420 of IPC in Cr.No.348 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, based on the advertisement through Social Media for property sale, the De-facto Complainant, with an intent to purchase the said property, had paid a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to one Dharmendra Kumar, who, along with the other accused persons including the petitioner had neither sold the property nor returned the money to the De-facto Complainant, which resulted in registration of present FIR before the law enforcing agency.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. T.V.THAMILSELVI,J.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner for the offences similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the fact that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner for the offences similar in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
