The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer for mandamus to direct the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 11.06.2025 in the light of the proceedings No.A2/pdl.407/2015 dated 14.09.2023 passed by the third respondent.
2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent passed an order dated 14.09.2023 revising the petitioner's seniority list. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent on 11.06.2025 which is currently pending for consideration.

4. I have given my anxious consideration on either side submissions and also perused the materials available on record.
5. In such view of the fair submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it 2/4
appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 11.06.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
