No.42/ 2015 dated 28.04.2025.

ORDER

By consent of the learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to cancel the settlement deed vide Document No.2659/2013 dated 18.03.2015 in the light of judgement and decree passed by the learned Additional District Munsif, Thirupathur, in O.S.No.42 of 2015 dated 28.04.2025.

3. At the outset, learned Government Advocate would submit that the remedy, if any, for cancellation of the settlement deed lies solely with the competent Civil Court.

4. When this was pointed out, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they may be granted liberty to approach the competent Civil Court.

5. In view thereof, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. It is open to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court and redress his grievance in the manner known to law. No costs.
