ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to forthwith and in any event within the time as may be fixed by this court to pay to the petitioner a total sum of Rs 30,00,000/- along with interest thereon at 12 percent p.a. due towards refund of the security deposit for establishment of 1 MW plant at Survey No.492/1 of Ndunkulam Village, Santhakulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District and the 2MW plant at Survey No.487/1 of Nedunkulam Village, Santhankulam Taluk, Thoothukudi, or to adjust the said amount against the petitioner's current consumption bills in its HTSC No.079094720181. 2.Heard Mr.Vishnu Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.R.Arunkumar, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

4/8 3.The issue involved in the present writ petition is covered by the earlier orders passed by this Court wherein this Court made it clear that the respondents will have to adjust the current consumption charges from the security deposit that is already available with the respondents. 4.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents also submitted that such adjustments will be made from the refundable security deposit that is available in the account of the petitioner. 5.The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent Corporation submitted that the petitioner has to submit the original Noted for Record Letter and the Commissioning Certificate in order to enable the respondents to act upon the request made by the petitioner. 6.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the original documents will be submitted before the respondents.

5/8 7.In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to adjust the current consumption charges from the solar security deposit which is already available with the second respondent, until the entire amount is exhausted. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
