ORDER

The writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner for transporting the building debris by considering his written representation dated 06.03.2017 within a stipulated time.

The petitioner seeks direction to the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 06.03.2017 to give police protection to transport the building debris to construct his building, since neighbours and some other un-known persons are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

obstructing the street from transport the heavy vehicles. Now, almost two years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now, as this writ petition is devoid of merits. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
