The prayer in the Writ Petition reads as follows: "Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the third respondent from using M/s.Arulmigu Santhana Ramasamy Vagaiyara Thirukovil land in violation to the conditions of lease vide Muu. Mu. No.68778/2012/R.1 dated 16.07.2015 in respect of the temple land measuring to an extent of 0.7 cents, comprised in S.No.19/19 at Melaveethi, Needamangalam Town and Taluk, Thiruvarur District."
2. Mr.D.Kumaralingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department had taken possession of the property subject matter of the Writ Petition, hence nothing survives in the Writ Petition.
3. Recording the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
