ORDER
By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
The writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025, in view of G.O.(Ms)No.188, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel.P) Department dated 28.12.1976 and further to direct the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the seniority list maintained by the 4th respondent under G.O.(Ms).No.188, dated 28.12.1976 from the date of the 1st registration of the petitioner in employment exchange and to call the petitioner for any Group-D post filled by direct recruitment through employment exchange within a stipulated time.
The case of the petitioner is that, the land belonged to the petitioner was acquired for Chennai to Trichy National Highways Project and thereafter, the petitioner was issued with Priority Certificate dated 27.06.2017, for employment. However, the petitioner was not given any employment. Aggrieved by which, the petitioner has sent representation to the third respondent dated 19.05.2025, seeking employment in view of G.O.(Ms).No.188 and the same is pending. Hence the petition. Learned Special Government Pleader would fairly submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.

Heard the learned Counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the fair submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.05.2025, and pass orders on it's own merits and in
accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
