Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to forthwith supply PDS kerosene to the Kerosene dealers in Chennai City regularly and uninterruptedly through its lorries/trucks in a day or two, whenever indent is placed by the kerosene dealers of the 3rd respondent so as to enable the PDS kerosene dealers to supply the same to the General Public who are all below poverty line through retailers based on the final representation dated 26.09.2016 as the festivals namely Navarathri, Deepavali, Christmas and Pongal etc., are to come shortly.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition as the cause title has been wrongly furnished in the writ petition and seeks liberty to file a fresh writ petition on the same cause of action giving the correct cause title. He has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect. In view of the submission and in view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn and the liberty sought for by the petitioner, is granted. No costs.
