and quash the impugned proceedings therein dated 31.10.2006 and direct the respondents to issue necessary orders, treating him as Deputy Collector with effect from the date of his original appointment as Commercial Tax Officer and to deem his service rendered in the Tamil Nadu Commercial Taxes Service as service rendered in the Tamil Nadu State Civil Service, in terms of the same as extended to a similarly situated person like him in accordance with the orders of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal in R.A.No.124 of 1995 in O.A.No.72 of 1989 dated 06.05.1997,followed by O.A.No.7653 of 2001 dated 26.03.2002, as affirmed by the Division Bench order of this Court in W.P.No.13502 of 2003 dated 13.04.2005 with all other consequential and attendant benefits.
