ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 29.12.2016 in 203/CSR/PIPs/2016 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent police on 29.12.2016, but, however, the respondent police had not taken any steps to enquire the matter and to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.286 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(i) IPC.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
