ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus, to disburse the admitted liability of difference amount in Leave Encashment benefits to the petitioner with interest at the rate of 12% per annum, within a stipulated time.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted a representation on 28.04.2025, claiming the difference amount in Earned Leave surrender in pursuance to the 7th pay commission. However, the said representation is still pending consideration by the respondents.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents fairly submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 will be considered by the respondents on its own merits and in accordance with law within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and also perused the materials available on record.

In such view of the fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.04.2025 and pass orders, according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
