ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 02.03.2016 and investigate the matter and file an FIR within a period stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent police on 02.03.2016, but, however, the respondent police had not taken any steps to enquire the matter and to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.
3. At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.196 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147 and 323 of IPC.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
