PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner during the pendency of the Civil Suit in O.S.No.128 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court at Panruti.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner during the pendency of the Civil Suit in O.S.No.128 of 2020 on the file of the District Munsif Court at Panruti.

2. Grievance of the petitioner is that there is a civil suit in O.S.No.128 of 2020 before the District Munsif Court at Panruti, pending between the petitioner and his neighbours Kathiresan, Mayakrishnan and Sudhakar. Further, the abovesaid neighbours lodged a false complaint before the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

as against the petitioner. The petitioner suffered a lot by the activities of the respondent based on the false allegation.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that there was a civil dispute between the parties which ended in abusement, threatening and assault. For which, case in Crime No.876 of 2021 has been registered on 13.12.2021 for the offence punishable under sections 147, 294(b) and 506(i) I.P.C as against the petitioner and four others.

4. Recording the abovesaid submissions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
