Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation dated 16.8.2016 holding enquiry with encroachment on Survey No.11/I, Kondampakkam Village and permit the petitioner to enjoy 49 cents without encroachment.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The allegation of the petitioner is that 49 Cents of land was allotted to the petitioner on 30.3.1982 and patta was issued, but the second respondent has encroached on the land. This is really an inter se dispute between the petitioner and the second respondent and, thus, the first respondent/District Collector may hold an enquiry, after notice to all concerned, and take a considered decision in accordance with law within a maximum period of three months from the date of receipt of the order.
