Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to give preference to petitioner's application among other things in selecting candidate for the above said post of Anganwadi helper for Pallavaram Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District as per her representation dated 23.06.2025 under humanitarian grounds.

By consent of both the learned counsel for the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2. The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to give preference to petitioner's application among other things in selecting candidate for the above said post of Anganwadi helper for Pallavaram Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District as per her representation dated 23.06.2025 under humanitarian grounds.

3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials 2/6

available on record.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has applied for the post of Anganwadi Posts and thereafter, she sent a representation to the 2nd respondent on 23.06.2025 to give preference and such representation is pending with them.

5. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that they will consider the petitioner's representation according to it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time.

6. While looking at the typed set of papers, what the petitioner wants is only the consideration of her representation dated 23.06.2025 for appointing her as a Anganwadi Helper and the same is pending with the 2nd respondent.

7. In such view of the above submission, without going into the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 2nd 3/6

respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2025 and pass orders on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 06.08.2025 Index : Yes/No Speaking order /Non Speaking Order dm 4/6
