Common Prayer: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta in the petitioner's name concerning the property purchased by him bearing plot No.D, in Janakipuram and situate in Survey No.243/1 and 243/2 measuring an extent of 14388 Sq.ft. covered under document Nos.1887 & 1839 of 1985 on the file of the Sub Registrar, Maduranthagam within the Jurisdiction of Madhuranthagam Taluk, Chengalpet District.

For petitioner : Mr.Madhuri Donti Reddy(Both Wps) For Respondents: Mr.M.Elumalai GA for R1 to R3 (Both Wps) COMMON ORDER The petitioners have given representations to the respondent on 04.07.2019 to grant patta for Survey Nos.243/1 and 243/2 at Maduranthagam Taluk, Chengalpet District. 2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the 3rd respondent submit that the land in Survey No.243/2A and 243/2B is under the control of Archaeological Survey of India and the said land is not in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner.

3. In view of the statement and documents produced by the 3rd respondent, this Court finds that there is no merit in these writ petitions and hence the same are dismissed. No costs.
