ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register an FIR on the complaint dated 04.09.2015, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a reading of the complaints dated 04.09.2015 and 19.01.2016, given by the petitioner, it is seen that the dispute between the petitioner and the opposite party is civil in nature and hence no positive direction can be issued to the first respondent-Police to register an FIR.

4. Even according to the petitioner, cheque given by the opposite party had bounced and therefore it is open for the petitioner to proceed against the opposite party in accordance with law.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
