Complaining that the order dated 08.08.2024 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has been filed. 1/4
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner earlier served as a Standing Counsel of the respondent Tamil Nadu Housing Board and since, his fees was not settled thereby, a Writ Petition filed before this Court for appropriate direction. This Court, by its order dated 08.08.2024, directed the 2nd respondent to settle the entire eligible legal fees to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Pursuant to the said order, a portion of the amount has been settled and complaining that the balance amount has not been settled, the present Contempt Petition is filed by the petitioner.
3. Per contra, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the eligible fees has been settled in favour of the petitioner and, if his claim is regard to payment of balance amount, it is a disputed question of fact, it has to be adjudicated before the civil Court and not before this Court.
