O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of his representation dated 24.06.2024 seeking sub-division and issuance of patta in respect of the land situated in S.No.473/15, Panchamadevi Village.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property originally belonged to his father and his brothers. His father was allotted 17 1/2 cent in S.No.473/15 along with other properties under the partition deed dated 01.02.1984. After the death of his father, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property. He submitted a representation dated 24.06.2024 seeking sub-division and issuance of patta in his name and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the 2/4

petitioner will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2024 and pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
