This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.245 of 2021 dated 01.09.2021 on the file of the first respondent-Police.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-Police, on instructions, submitted that on completion of investigation in Crime No.245 of 2021, charge-sheet was filed through efiling on 16.08.2024 vide e-filing No.LTN-20240000140C202400098 before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Alandur. 3.Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the charge-sheet before the learned Magistrate concerned, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy in the manner known to law.
