Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to take suitable action on the representations filed before the respondent on 01.12.2023 and 1908.2024 with regard to annulment of the registration of marriage registered on 23.09.2019 on the file of the respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to take steps to cancel the registration of marriage by the representations dated 01.12.2023 and 19.08.2024.

2. On instruction, the learned Additional Government Pleader (Pondicherry) would submit that the petitioner's marriage is an annulled marriage, which was registered on 23.09.2019 on the file of the respondent and it was already rejected by an order dated 03.09.2024.

3. Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands closed. However, the respondent is directed to serve a copy of the order forthwith. No costs.
