PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the I Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, in O.S.No.11240 of 2010 fix an early date within the stipulated time. For Petitioners :Mr.P.L.Narayanan For Respondents :M/s.Dr.S.Suriya Additional Government Pleader for R15 and R16 O R D E R The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the I Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, to dispose of O.S.No.11240 of 2010, within time stipulated by this Court.
2. Having regard to the limited prayer in this Revision, this Court is inclined to dispose of the same, even without notice to the respondent.

3. The petitioners herein are defendants 1 and 2 in the suit. The respondents 1 to 14 filed a suit for declaration and recovery of possession in O.S.No.11240 of 2010.
4. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the suit was originally presented before this Court in the year 2010 and thereafter, on the question of pecuniary jurisdiction, the case was transferred to the City Civil Court and renumbered.
5. A perusal of the e-Court entry furnished in the typed set of papers reveals that the pleadings of the parties were completed as early as 14.09.2018 and recording of the evidence was commenced on 09.11.2018. Though the plaintiff was examined as early as 09.11.2018, thereafter the suit has been adjourned from time to time. Having regard to the fact that the suit is of the year 2010, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the suit within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
